Jen Floyd Engel of Fox Sports doesn’t like the Tebow hate either
I’ve been saying for some time now: The Tebow hate is uncalled for. Ever since he was drafted by the Denver Broncos and even before, Tim Tebow has been ridiculed for all sorts of things, especially for being a devout Christian.
Jen Floyd Engel of Fox Sports is one of the few voices in the mainstream media that is asking why. She even asks the question: Would this criticism be the same if Tebow were a Muslim?

What if Tim Tebow were a Muslim? Imagine for a second, the Denver Broncos quarterback is a devout follower of Islam, sincere and principled in his beliefs and thus bowed toward Mecca to celebrate touchdowns. Now imagine if Detroit Lions players Stephen Tulloch and Tony Scheffler mockingly bowed toward Mecca, too, after tackling him for a loss or scoring a touchdown, just like what happened Sunday.
